Overall Recommendation
I recommend going to Tokyo, Japan. This city has much to offer and is rich in culture and
modern technology. History dictates the beautiful, clean and unique atmosphere. I recommend staying at Keio Plaza Hotel in the Shinjuku area where at night there is a beautiful view of neon lights. Taxi's are covered with white linen and very clean. I suggest trying various types of noodles, sushi and teas. Attend a traditional Tea Ceremony and a Japanese Show complete with Samurai clad actors and Geisha costumed ladies. Visit temples, their palace grounds, Mt. Fuji and sulphur springs. Try a lake cruise on a Japanese wooden ship with lunch and visit a shrine with the locals. Mt Fuji is gorgeous, especially in January where you can see the perfect tip capped in snow. The mountain scenery is spectacular as you wind your way up the mountain and ridges. You can enjoy modern Japanese music while ice skating on a lake. City streets are crowded, but very well kept. I would also recommend not only visiting Tokyo, but visiting Kyoto, Okinawa, Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Honeymoon Recommendation
I love working with honeymooners as well and my favorite honeymoon destination is Fiji. With untouched nature and a laid back atmosphere, you can enjoy pristine beaches or water estuaries. You can also rent a bungalow or hut for a little added adventure. There are so many choices of activities and sights to see on this little group of islands. The food in Fiji is delicious and mostly Polynesian with a blend of Indo-Chinese and Malay. Ask me about your next trip to Fiji!
