Trish's Recommendation
Dramatic Alaska. Although there are many ways to experience the wonders of Alaska, I think one of most dramatic (and comfortable) is to take a cruise-tour that combines the beauty of coastal Alaska with a rail trip through breathtaking scenic wilderness into Denali National Park. Holland America Lines MS Oosterdam is my ship of choice. Not only is the ship elegant and comfortable, the international staff is the best. One of my favorite activities on board ship is a demonstration at the Culinary Arts Center. An experience not to be missed on land is Misty Fjords by Floatplane. You fly past magnificent waterfalls and sheer cliffs to land on the waters of a small Alpine lake-what an adventure! At the end of the cruise I get whisked off to the McKinley Explorer for a scenic rail journey and a couple of nights stay in Denali National Park. Are you ready to let me make this happen for you?
